Proposed changes – contributions on the remuneration of a supervisory board member

Companies may become liable to pay social security contributions on supervisory board members' pay.

The Minister of Labour and Social Policy has prepared guidelines for a new law introducing an obligation to remit social security contributions on remuneration payable by companies to supervisory board members. This issue is now being discussed by the government, employers' organisations and trade unions.
