We are pleased to announce the addition of a new partner, Megan Shields, former Associate General Counsel of U.S. headquartered Webroot Inc, the global, anti-malware tech firm. Megan will spearhead the expansion of Abbiss Cadres’s data protection and privacy offering to provide clients with a one-stop shop for EU and UK GDPR compliance and wider privacy solutions. Abbiss Cadres will now offer outsourced DPO services, Privacy Program creation and management, data protection training as well as its existing general personal data protection and privacy advice services. Originally from the United States, Megan joins Abbiss Cadres LLP after 18 years in the technology sector. With extensive experience leading global teams to achieve Data Protection compliance, she specialises in making privacy and data protection compliance manageable for organisations. Megan’s experience includes acting as a Global DPO for U.S headquartered companies, creating and delivering in-person and online global privacy compliance training, establishing and leading cross-functional compliance teams and implementing privacy-by-design frameworks across operations.
