Compensation & Benefits: New HMRC ‘rights’ Charter
On 11 November 2009, HMRC published its new Charter called ‘Your
Charter’, setting out the rights of obligations of individuals when
dealing with HMRC.
The Charter notes that HMRC wants to give the taxpayer a “service
that is even-handed, accurate and based on mutual trust and respect.”
